The 2nd International Ashihara Karate Camp (Prague) — Event Report
The 2nd International Ashihara Karate Camp took place in Prague, Czech Republic, from July 5 to July 10, 2026. The event was organized by Sensei Vadim Kim (President of the Ashihara Karate Federation of Uzbekistan) and Sensei Alex Bultaev ( President of the Czech sports club KATANA, and Branch Chief for the Czech Republic), along with Sensei Tatiana Bultaeva (Czech Republic).
On July 10, a Kyu test was held for athletes representing the Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan; 17 participants successfully passed their exams and advanced in rank.
On July 13, 2026, we arrived in Romania to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ashihara Karate in the country. In Brașov, I introduced Arsen Bultaev son—the new Branch Chief for the Czech Republic Alex—to Kancho. During the branch meeting,
Alex Bultaev delivered a speech in which he spoke about his role as the youngest NIKO branch leader and the work accomplished in the Czech Republic following his father’s passing; he also invited everyone to an international tournament in Prague scheduled for November 2026 and discussed preparations for the Czech Republic to host the World Championship.
